For over 60 years Burns Engineering has been working with one goal, to provide the best temperature measurement solution possible to our customers. Starting in a garage with a belief he could provide a better solution company founder Don Burns worked tirelessly to develop and supply custom and standard temperature measurement devices. As his list of customers grew so did Burns Engineering. During that time, product quality and customer service along with innovative engineering have been top priorities in the Burns Engineering business philosophy.

Motivation

We realize that each of us, stake our lives, safety, health, and enjoyment on the products our customers produce. The instruments and guidance we provide, play a vital role in these processes. We know that what we do matters because what our customers do matters to all of us.

Burns core values are the cornerstone upon which our business is built. Don Burns, the founder of Burns Engineering Inc., instilled these values and as second-generation owners, Jim and JD continue to be committed to these core values – ensuring strong business ethics and integrity, bringing our temperature expertise to all our work, focusing on best quality practices, valuing each other’s contribution, and solid financial performance.

Burns Today

Today under the guidance of Jim and JD Burns the privately held company continues to grow. Our portfolio of customers includes pharmaceutical, bioscience, food processing, chemical, gas and oil, and a range of OEM suppliers. Our new facility in Eden Prairie, Minnesota houses our corporate, engineering, and customer service teams as well as our manufacturing and calibration lab. We provide services directly to the end-user or through our network of Authorized Representatives. Burns offers engineered to order items, as well as a full catalog of standard products.

The future
